Art Exhibition

The South American Bird Fair promotes an encounter of artists and therefore has a space dedicated to the arts in all disciplines: painting, music, sculpture, film, literature, etc.

The artists of different disciplines, and no age limit, may participate in the exhibition "BIRDS AND NATURE"

As its name indicates is not competition, therefore there is no prize or award.

RULES of the Exhibition

1. Art Exhibition of the South American Bird Fair 2011, held at the Municipal Exhibition Hall, San Martín de los Andes, Argentina, who declared of National Interest. The organization and implementation will be undertaken by the Art Commission of the Fair Organizing Committee.

2. The exhibition is international and is open to artists of all South American countries.

3. To expose is necesarario register at the Fair (the process is online at the website). The artists whose works are selected will be exempt from payment of registration

4. SUBJECT: Birds and their surroundings in nature.

5. Artists may participate in the following disciplines:
- Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media
- Recorded
- Sculpture.
- Music
- Literature
- Dance
- Movies

6. Each artist may submit up to three original unpublished works for selection

7. Exhibits will be accepted in other rooms, but no previous works on display at the Bird Fair.

8. Regarding the works of drawing, painting and engraving:
a. May not exceed 1 m base, including the framework
b. Identifies the following categories: abstract art and realism. This should refererise últimocaso native species in South America

9. Selection Process:
a. Participants may register until September 21, 2011. Jurors selected works report October 15
b. Registration is required at the Bird Fair following the procedure of the website (see "Registration")
c. After registering please send a email to arte@feriadeaves.com.ar, indicating Name, Discipline, Title and description of each of the works including materials and measurements and digital photographs of them in where appropriate.
d. -Dimensional works must be digitized photographs as originals will not be on paper or other format. The original must have been taken in high quality jpg format.
e. For the other disciplines to agree on a means of presentation (Materials uploaded to internet, mp3s, etc.).
f. The photographs may be used in promotional materials of the Fair ..

10. The art works must be delivered ready to present. The works that need to be hung must have pins and wires, or equivalent ..

11. On the back of the work must be indicated:
- Name of author
- Home
- Telephone
- Title of the work
- And art.

12. The reception of works will be on November 22 from 9 am to 13 pm. in the Municipal Exhibition Hall of San Martin de los Andes, 661 Drury Captain

13. The organizers will ensure the conservation and monitoring of the works but are not liable for damages, losses or other acts which that may occur during storage or display.

14. The works shall be removed on November 27th, from 10 to 13 hours, not being responsible for the organization since that date if the works were not removed. Can not change his work before the closing date.

15. Exhibitors will be responsible for the transfer of works.

SALE OF WORKS

Is up to the author the opportunity to sell the works during the exhibition. See conditions arte@feriadeaves.com.ar
